The only games of note were Star Fox Zero, two new Animal Crossing games (Happy Home Designer and a Mario Party clone), a "Metroid" game, a new 3DS Zelda (along with a port of Hyrule Warriors), and puppets. Lots of Jim Henson uncanny valley puppets.

It wasn't bad, but many found it to be underwhelming.
. . . alright

I think the inclusion of Tetra in Warriors is pretty cool. First Wind Waker rep in the game at all, in any form, so far as I know.

I'll be leaving tomorrow and I won't have regular access to a computer until mid-July
Really? It'll be sad to not see you around.

Well it certainly wasn't one of the Social Thread's finest moments that's for sure.
I mean, in terms of reactions this was arguably one of the fiercest I've seen.

I don't get why people are so disappointed, it was pretty good. Nothing groundbreaking, but pretty good (Though, Ryu in Smash Brothers and available the day of his reveal is pretty amazin).

I thought for sure we'd see new Smash DLC announced, to keep the hype at max level. Huh.

Does that mean what I think it means? :(

Yeah, I won't be on Smashboards for a long time. I might be able to occasionally stop by, though I don't know when specifically. And I won't be able to make any friendship reports for a while too, but I'll resume that once I get back. :)

It's nice that you can still drop in a bit. And watch the show ( if you feel like it. )

I don't know. I can't really blame Nintendo for this.
I mean for one, quite a bit was leaked onto the Internet (like 3DS Hyrule Warriors and Royu), so that killed a bit. And two, E3 2014 was a tough act to follow. This was the event where everything perfectly fell into its place. The Smash demo, new info on hyped up games, Splatoon, it was a smorgasbord of greatness. How the living Hell were they supposed to beat that?

Also, compared to the other presentations, Nintendo could've done worse.

I think we're at that point where we just have to wait for the ballot to end before we see more characters, aside from like a couple more veterans maybe.

True. I guess what I really expected was Wolf.

Regarding E3, some disappointment is fine, I totally get that. This wasn't the best presentation, far from it.

Some people just act entitled. It's the way some people are, unfortunately. (though it would appear some people went out of there way to personally insult people just for liking this particular presentation. Again, it's very unfortunate)

As did I, but I think they'll wait until Star Fox Zero releases or maybe some time before that for a promotional stunt and...
...since Pigma was in the trailer, I'm sure Wolf will be in the game as well.

I was hearing people say Wolf was there.

I look forward to seeing your return.
Pigma will never be as great as he was in 64, imo.
Unless they go back to having him as a madman. Madpig?

Yeah, the social thread got pretty salty there. But nothing I wouldn't have really expected from an underwhelming e3 ( if it truly was. )
Just judging from the posts I saw.
