I don't see why Pichu should come back, considering that the one good thing that made it different to Pika in Melee is now part of Smash 4 Pikachu.
Of couse, all fighting games must have its joke character, so I guess it could still be fun (but the price better be cheaper)

I want Pichu back, but maybe a bit reworked. He doesn't have to be a joke.
I love all 3 of the starters...in P:M. I never really tried them much in Brawl.

Why not make him more powerful? He deals damage to himself, but takes killer damage out of enemies. It's still cute and funny. Or, yeah, make him faster.
If he were in Smash 4 as a joke, I'd still play him.

Veterans come first (except Young Link, and Pichu isn't as much of a concern for me as the Brawl vets who didn't return) but newcomer-wise, King K. Rool and Tetra, hands down.

I personally hesitating between Wonder-Red and Chibi-Robo (especially because that new game of his gives him more potential when combined with what SSF2 made up for him)
