...Probably? It's hard for me to say. I've enjoyed the 3 or so shooters I've played, so I guess I like them. But Splatoon is rather simple, if you dislike the extreme tactical level of some shooters,

I actually thought if waiting until more DLC gets released, but the longer I wait, the harder it'll be for me to actually do well online (since everyone will have Rollers or Aerospray RGs)

I don't think Rollers are OP. Aerospray RGs, though, yes, those seem a touch OP. They are ridiculous in melees.

They also have the best special weapon and one of the best subs, which is the only thing separating them from the Aerospray MG (the gun itself is basically a silver palette swap, but the other weapons aren't as reliable nor useful)

Inkstrikes are kinda cheap in ranked battles-but then, so is the bubbler(makes you invincible. Not as cheap though.)

Inkstrikes are definitely best special for ranked battles.
