Because it's coming on at 3 I might as well watch a few episodes of GFs.. (they are probably not in order though :p)

This is an insult to the show itself, as it has a large amount of linearity in its episodes.
To be fair this is how I started with MLP as well. The first episode I saw of MLP was A Friend in deed. I also don't have the means to watch the episodes without having them buffer for a while..

Yeah, but Gravity Falls always references previous episodes, so there are some major plot points you might skip by not watching it in order, making it harder to understand.

In MLP's case, the linearity is very minimal (season premiere -> practically random -> season finale).

At the very least, try to avoid the season finale episodes first.

There are some episodes with HUGE plot points and twists being revealed in them, not just season finales and openers either, it has part of an ongoing storyline. Watching them out of order wouldn't be the same. They really should be watched in the order they premiered.

I agree x9000 with this statement

Personally, I don't think watching GFs out of order is a good idea.... it'd probably ruin one's opinion about the show, IMO.

Not like GF is for everybody either, but if you're going to at least try it it's better to watch them in order. It's more enjoyable that way.

do you know the description of the first episode?
The first episode that is starting at 3 is something about Mabel's favorite boy band being imprisoned clones or something.

Yeah, that episode does have some pretty considerable changes for some of the cast.

As for the first episode, I don't know about the description, but it's titled "Tourist Trapped".

I might be the youngest (or at least second youngest) person who comes here now, lol.

Will be a legal adult later this year though.
