Great! Really random, but it got lots of development in its characters and that one scene with Stan gave me heavy feels, which more than made up for it.

Also, Bill blew my mind.

The S1 finale BLEW MY ****ING MIND!!! (or whatever was left of it from the other episodes :p)

Time to criticize the show!

The series shows a lot of continuity, but still enough to make each episode fresh and new.
The music is fantastic, catchy and very fitting. That theme song is amazing too.
The characters are unique, colorful and the way they interact and develop really make each episode really enjoyable.
The villains and creatures are well thought and sometimes very clever.
The story seems very complex, but the writers found a way to make it somewhat understandable.

Only thing wrong about this show is Bill's name :p

Agreed completely. Looks like you are officially hooked on Gravity Falls now. :bluejump:

And if you thought these last few episodes had some strong character development, just wait what's in store for Season 2.

Also, I've mentioned before, but there are a bunch of shorts as well.

The Dipper ones were the first to be released, and none of the shorts have any major plot points or spoilers in them. You can watch them in any order you please. :p

Going back and forth between Mabel, Soos, Stan and Bill right now.

I'd love to say Bill, but I've only seem him once.

Also, I never thought of looking for the meaning of the credits cryptographs until now and the one for Fight Fighters is really funny.

^I wouldn't know I'm afraid.

^^I still don't know exactly how decoding those things works..... But yeah, they are a neat feature in the show.

That's because they change the way they crypt those messages every 6-7 episodes.

Fight Fighters's, if you didn't know, is "Sorry Dipper, but your Wendy is in another castle"

They also hide some of these in the episodes and even in the opening.

So much mystery within the show, I LOVE IT!!!

Yeah, I remembered it. :p I just look up the messages.

The show has a lot of big mysteries in it.....and so many (potential) teases. It's one of the many reasons why it's such a popular (and rightly so) show. Fan theories are a very common sight. (don't look into those just yet though. Some might spoil S2)

I'm glad you introduced me to the show.

It's basically all the things I enjoyed from random cartoons I watched when I was a kid, but combined into one big pile of paranormal mysteries.

It's totally the kind of show I could enjoy watching over and over!

I'm glad to hear it!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on season 2. The story and characters get even deeper as the series progresses.
