Aaaaand a tournament has officially banned customs moves.. can't they analyze them first and see which moves/sets are broken and need to be banned individually or not allow certain combinations of moves?

i disagree with the whole thing and tbh it feels like it's the same reason Nintendo had to patch up Lil Mac and Rosalina. But still banning everything about them isn't necessary..

I'll be honest, I think for right now (as it is still new) banning then is the safe option until we can dig up more on how they change the metagame and such.

That's pretty much how I feel about it as well.. It will take a while for some various testing to be done and to make relatively safe conclusions about the combinations and their effect on the metagame.
