So much pinky fluffy power of friendship... Where is my backup insulin dose?

I'll find your weaknesses eventually Frostwraith.
Good luck with that. Perhaps, you'll see it discovered in a thousand years or so.

I just need to catch up on Soul Eater....(and maybe play Uprising if I can get a chance to do that soon)
Make sure you read the manga of Soul Eater, for it's much better than the anime adaptation. If you want me to elaborate on why, just ask.

As for Kid Icarus: Uprising... Play it as soon as you're able to. (There are also a few game mechanics from that game carried over into Smash 4, such as the difficulty system.)

¡Adiós!

Some of you will understand what I wrote here? Maybe not ... not without a certain tool ... How's it called? Google Translate?
The art of perceiving more than one language without resorting to automated methods is indeed worthy to be praised.
Thank you! Goodbye.

That's what he's saying.

I'd like to check out both the anime and the manga, although I'm not all that big on manga in general. Are there any particular reasons (that aren't spoilers) why the manga is better?

And there is a good chance that I'll finally get Uprising in about 10 days, for reasons I believe I've already mentioned a few times on a few other parts of the forum.

The anime diverges from the manga's story and leaves some details unexplained.

The manga was far from over when the anime aired and the producers wrote a different ending. As a result, there are two continuities, but the manga's is longer and some plot points are only explained there.

It would have been more polite to ask for the translation...

After all, I am a native Portuguese speaker who's learning Japanese and also understands some Spanish.

You may fool others with your precious automatic translations, but not me!

Ah, thanks. I'll definitely be checking both the anime and the manga out. Is there any good site you might happen to know of where I could read the manga online?

Uh... Just try Googling them...

(Most of those sites are of questionable legality and posting such stuff is against the Global Rules of this site...)

I figured as much....well hopefully I'll be able to find a safe site as I have no ways of getting actual copies of them, not at the moment at least. The anime at least will probably be far easier for me to come across.

Thanks for the help nonetheless.

Cliff fooling someone with another language?
What a miracle

I've decided to respond to such stuff in my native language with some Japanese, Spanish and/or French thrown in the mix.

And sarcasm. Loads and loads of sarcasm.

Well, there are loads of scanlation websites out there. You'll find them for sure.

Of course, those sites do scan manga magazines and they replace the Japanese text with translated text, hence, the questionable legality. (It's a rather debated issue, actually.)

There are online manga sites that are legal, such as Crunchyroll, but those usually have some restrictions and don't have an extensive selection.

I stopped giving a crap about Cliff's Google Translating a long time ago.

Though I did hear something about Kid Icarus Uprising. Honestly I thought the game wasn't that bad. I liked the multiplayer for one.

I started taking German in high school because i wanted to take a language and Spanish was a no and i didn't want to take French.. I'm also part German which played a factor in the decision..

That's cool. I might eventually try learning Polish, as I'm partially Polish. I just don't have much time to really do some extensive learning and practice on something like that.
