Event Rules and Guidelines:

Wii U Rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11X7WE44OaMUL3zUTwdN2Qog-18crGVv-WKaKH3JjWOI/edit

Melee Rules:
Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause Disabled
Starter stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.
Counter-pick Stages: Pokémon Stadium.
Wobbling is legal. Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal.
First stage is decided by striking from the Starter Stages in 1-2-1 order.
Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing the stage. Characters are chosen after the stage choice, with the winning player choosing first. Neither player is locked into the same character for the next match.
Any matches that are best of five, there are no stage bans.
You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.

-Bring your own controller

-If you plan on using any kind of wireless controller for Wii U, you will have to leave it at the TO booth between matches. We've had such a huge problem with them that this is the only course of action that will work. Non-compliance will result in the banning of wireless controllers from future events (frankly they should already be banned).

-No outside food/drink except from Dominoes or The Ref

-Water is ok to bring in

-LABEL ALL YOUR ITEMS. MISTAKES HAPPEN, BUT DON'T LET THEM HAPPEN TO YOU.

-Listen for your matches. Don't be late to any of your matches

-Please pay your door fee with bills smaller than $20

-Get hype

-Refrain from playing Friendlies until there is space available. The TO has the right to kick you off at any time or disqualify you for repeated offenses.

-If you do not report to your match within 5 minutes of it being called you are subject to disqualification from the entire bracket. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Is there a sign-up list, or just walk-in? Either way, looking forward to this! My brother-in-law and I are planning on coming for May 21st! That is one of the times, right? It says 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM, but did you mean PM? Since that's what the description seems to show...
