Abra abra cadabra. I wanna reach out and grab ya!
I probably would, but the fact is if they company can't put enough work into making the demo, our first impression of the game, at least work at it's best, then I am not spending $50 on it.
Why, because that states what the quality of the game will be like?

So what if the demo doesn't work? It's not like this is the first time a major video game had problems with its downloadable content.

Cut them some slack, they made a darn good game.

Look, the problem with the demo is that it crashes. The main game doesn't crash. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the main game. Yet you refuse to buy it because the demo crashes.

It's like you're saying "Your game is amazing but you didn't make the trial version good enough so I refuse to purchase the great final product". You're boycotting a great game because you were annoyed that the demo had problems.....you are a very silly person.

Coming from working in a games company who are madly scrambling to get working demos of their games in time for the Tokyo Game Show, I think this is a little bit unfair. Often demos are made on an extremely tight deadline, before most of the game is even finished, and therefore many bugs have yet to be ironed out. I can see where you are coming from, but to just stubbornly refuse to buy a game on a matter of principle is a bit lame.

But hey, we buy games to enjoy them. Your loss, not mine.

I beat BioShock a few nights ago and it was amazing. No crashes on the 360. It was too good. I'm playing it again.

Easily the greatest game of this generation...no small feat considering im including Metroid Prime 3, Twilight Princess, Gears of War, Dead Rising, Marvel Ultimate Alliance (although that works as a great game if your a comic nerd only), Oblivion and Resistance: Fall Of Man (although ive only played this is a friends house as i dont own a ps3).

The story is second to none and of all the games released in the last 7 years the only few i can say really compete with it all overall are Smash Bros Melee (obviously), Resident Evil 4, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War 2 and Half Life. No small feat considering there is absolutly no multiplayer ('you dont read a novel with someone else'' one reviewer said)

This game seriously kicks buttocks. One of the best (if not best) single-player experiences I've ever had - and believe it or not, I've had quite many.
