Would the yummy sensational Fuji Apple count?

Hmm, no I do not think it would qualify as GMO, mainly because it is a simple cross between two already existing apple varieties, and there is no recombinant DNA/gene splicing involved. It was achieved in the 1930s no less. I love apples and I don't think there is anything wrong with Fuji apples (although Red Delicious is my favorite).
