I don't know if there's anyone actually from Binghamton unfortunately I think the closest place with Smashers is either me (Norwich) or Syracuse.

I'm in the Binghamton area though I am only just starting out. I play predominately Capcom fighters but, upon watching the documentary, my friends and I decided to give Melee a try. If you find other smashers in the area or would like to spar with a rookie let me know!

This is probably the closest centralized group in upstate NY from what I've been looking through. I sent a request to join. It'll be kinda tough for me to make it up for events since I don't have a car, but I will in the fall semester.
