Just try looking for a local scene, there was a Local scene in my city for a long ass time and i never knew it, they are more common then you think. If you cant find a local smash scene, try finding a local fighting game scene and ask if they can add smash to their line up.

That would be amazing, if I had the time to do all that. I sadly have much other work to do

There isn't much hacking going on for the WiiU afaik. If we were going to do another project like this, I know we'd all want to be paid for it that time around, haha. I'm not really willing to put 5 years of my life into something like this again without being paid.

So, have you guys thought about making a start-up and developing your own game from the ground up? Similar to how Riot Games built a company around a stand-alone game (League of Legends) that's based on the Warcraft III custom map DOTA?"
