How about for young link, they go with the LOZMM angle? Down+B would let u cycle through normal, deku, zora, and goron forms, each with different moves.

Here are my moves set for Young Link and differences from Super Smash Bros Melee

Sword: Razor Sword from Majora Mask
Shield: Hero Shield from Majora Mask
Taunt: Drink Milk but this time it should restore 5% if successful

B up: Magic Spin Attack
B: Sling shot
B Sideways: Bombachu
B down: Mask Transformation Deku Link, Goron Link, Zora Link (Work like Pokemon Trainer)
Final Smash: Fierce Deity Link

Overall, I don't care about Young Link. One Link is good enough for me.

But to comment on the OP, I like the Majora's Mask idea, but we've got enough transforming characters as it is, I think. Anymore and we'd really be pushing the gimmick.

Majora's Mask Y.Link suggestion would be so much better than OoT Y.Link.
He wouldn't be a pure clone. But the mask switching idea would ruin the uniqueness of Pokemon Trainer.
And he has already ruined the uniqueness of Zelda/Sheik.

But if Y.Link does make it in, he should be modeled after Majora's Mask,
AND his normal A moves shouldn't be nothing but quicker, shorter-ranged versions of Link.
I don't want him to have a cloned moveset..

So you suggest making a character that sports 4 or 5 different movesets? That's highly excessive, and takes up time that could be used to develop other characters. I'd merely make his varying moves have something to do with each mask. ie. B is a normal Y. Link special of some sort, B Down and he briefly becomes Zora Link and performs a single move before reverting back, B Up for a Deku Link move (Deku Leaf at a guess) and Smash B for a Goron Link move. Because of putting the masks on and off, they'd be slightly laggy before and after the moves, but would have far more power and/or utility than Y.Link might have had otherwise to make up for it.

And for his Final Smash, just to complete it, Fierce Deity Link, with all the same moves as young Link, but with 3 new programmed moves for B Up, B Down and B Smash. And to save on character restructuring due to hitboxes, he'd share hitboxes and essential wireframe with another tallish character, like C. Falcon or Ganondorf.

Or you could just go with WW Link, who could have his own interesting moveset.

Wherever McFox tells me I am.
I'm kind of spilt on this issue. On one hand, I think this idea is great, I would certainly train to main him - on the other hand it would seem like we are trying for to many transforming characters. I dunno.
