i feel like saukuri knows that smash is competative and so he made the 3ds more gimicky than wii u because he knows that smash wiiu will be more played than 3ds so he made the 3ds have more stages that are for causual players then he made wii u stages more compettive that are less likely to be banned
Whoa! That actually might be really true, but I do believe that both games will have those gimicky stages! No matter what though, I have faith this game will be worth the wait! :)

I kind of see more gimmicks in the Wii U version, but that my opinion

I think both games will have gimmicky stages. I agree though, Pac-Maze looks much better than the Pac-Land stage.

Yes, the 3DS stages so far look much better than the Wii U ones. The only Wii U stages I really like are Wily's Castle and Smashville, but we are yet to see the Mega Man 3DS stage and it might be even better than the Wii U one.

Ultimately, for me, it will depend on which one has more low-gimmick stages from series' I like. So far, the 3DS is winning, since Ferox looks like a transforming but not otherwise too gimmicky, whereas the FE stage on the U is walkoff.

Well, with the Final Destination modes for the stages, I wouldn't worry about gimmicks honestly.
