Best way to approach Wolfs lasers

My brother and I were playing battlefield, I was playing Lucina and he was playing Wolf. Whenever he got out of range of me he'd do a two laser blast. I tried shielding, and that would just lead to him applying more pressure on me with lasers. I tried rolling pass the lasers, but I would be hit with the laser or punished with a jab to a f-air. When I tried to go above the platforms I tried doing a d-air, but my sword hitbox is not big enough to reach him under the platform. So my question is, what is the best way to approach this?

Shorthop directional air dodge to get close and then punish.

But just remember that you're not gonna be able to dodge/block all the lasers, as some point you're gonna have to facetank a couple to rush and get close. Spammers typically aren't good at up close confrontation and Wolf's lasers have a bit of endlag. Once you get close feel free to combo him into oblivion.

On battlefield, try to get used to maneuvering around the platforms and dropping through them with instant aerials, as well as approaching Wolf from behind whichever platform he's beneath. Basically, circle around above him.

Platform camp him. Wolf suffers a ton from being camped out due to slow movements and bad frame data. If there are no platforms on the map, just roll through the lasers by pressing the shield button + left or right on whatever stick you're using.

Why camp with a character that has zero projectiles, like Lucina? Also, Wolf's up-air is crazy good, can't recommend staying above him for extended periods of time in my experience. I could be wrong though.

Not on the top platform. I should have mentioned that. But fast fighters with good frame data can benefit from mixing up/crossing up a fighter as slow as Wolf on the lower two platforms.
