Best secondary character to MK?

So, as far as covring all the bases, what would be a good character complement to MK? I find myself enjoying playing as olimar, rob, and marth, but who best covers MK's weaknesses, which is i guess to say who is the best counter to snake, lol. In all seriousness, what tandem of two characters, MK being the first, can at least be even with every other character, and is the easiest transition for a MK player to make. I couldn't switch from aerial combos and intense pressure to Toon Link spam, and i can't play power characters either. What characters best complement the match-up disadvantages, but synch most with an MK playstyle?

I play Snake. It's incredibly fun.

Yeah, same question. Falco seems to work rather well for both situations, as well as being an effective counter to MK if you're looking for a secondary.

not a doubles partner, a back0up character. I've been debating between olimar, rob, and marth, but it seems that of the three marth is the best choice. I just can't play Snake, doesn't work for me

I think Marth would be the best choice, because of his superior range, power, and couple of his moves are similar to Meta Knight's.
