Ike's probably the best call, but I'm going with Lucas. I'm not gonna have the hang of the Wiimote and Nunchuck anyway, but I figure I can always make people mad with PK Fires and do a running upsmash to KO.

Methinks you could go with the character that you're best at in Melee, if he/she/it is available at the start.

I can also say that Meta Knight, Ike, Fox, Samus, and Sheik are hot picks. Diddy Kong and Dedede could be too.
