You repeatedly bring out the fact that Palutena's Bair has is powerful, yet as I've said before, Luigi's is stronger. KOing at 120% is nothing special. Luigi's neutral air KOs at 120%. Even if you do outprioritize a move, there's no guaranteed that it will hit because of the moves subpar range. So far, Luigi's back air outfoxes Palutena's in everything but priority. And it's not like his has no priority at all.
I'm saying this right now...
POWER IS NOT EVERYTHING!

Who cares if Luigi or Mario's kills faster or comes out faster? Paluetna's B-air is designed to be defensive with its unrivaled priority and decent overall power.
Example: I don't see any other B-air besides Palutena's being able to completely cancel out a fully charged Samus Neutral B while the user is unharmed.
But that's really one of the purposes of the move. It takes out projectiles no matter the strength, and again, its priority. You either clash with or get hit from B-air if you challenge it in the general sense. This utility and the other things I made on my first post on this thread shows its capabilities.

Tbh I think many ppl are looking down on Palutena for many reasons again, and it does make me sad.

:4ness: is probably the best because of it's kill power and the fact that :4ness: has combos to rack up damage so he isn't really losing anything.

That's why we have shields. Even if power is not everything, Luigi's back air has just about everything else over Palutena's.

Surprised Sonic's hasn't really been mentioned. Real strong when you get the sweetspot, and can be combo'd into. If you use it immediately after a short hop, you can also land without landing lag, since the move will be finished.

Luma also has a powerful one, and since Rosalina can auto-cancel her own B-air, it can be thrown out without telegraphing it at all. Rosalina's own B-air is also unique in that it sends people out at a downward angle, making it great for gimps.

Mega Man's has amazing range, is multi-hit, and has incredibly high launch power too. Comes out in a snap.

The hitbox on her B-air isn't that small (with the right timing it can hit a crouching Kirby/Jigglypuff).

But really, the fact that it's unbeatable makes it very threatening. When used just right it can be incredibly hard to get past and it does 12 damage so each hit adds up. It's also possible for us to combo off of B-air if we SHFF it; I get B-air>Dash Attack and B-air>F-air on people all the time.

It's worth noting that B-air can be used to bypass certain attacks and punish them. There have been several times where I landed on Fox's U-smash, used B-air to force a clank, and got a free Smash Attack because his U-smash didn't stop after the exchange.

Even if it isn't the best (there are some incredible B-airs in this game), it's still really good and deserves an honorable mention at least.

Ness and G&W jump out when I think of potent back-aerials. I love getting people with the turtle.

Jigglypuff's is good for shorthopping it into your opponent's face several times in a single air trip.

I dunno bout y'all but when I say best I mean the fastest, strongest, longest, and most lagless. ;)
If you mean separate categories than Mega Man for fastest, Luigi for strongest, I'm assuming you mean range for longest, so Shulk, and Ike for lagless. I can't believe I just said "Ike" and "lagless" in the same sentence. If you put them together, the award would go to Ike, since he has all of those things. Luigi's isn't lagless, so yeah. A move that strong can't be too fast, though.

Being able to hit a crouching Jigglypuff is not a good dictation for range. Mario's can grab a crouching Jigglypuffand Mario's grab range is...shudder.

Mario's short tho. Palutena is tall. Don't most other backhand aerials whiff a crouching Jigglypuff?

Anyways, the hitbox on B-air is about as big as the shiny graphic that appears around her shield. It isn't super-small like you seem to be suggesting and it's incredibly rare when it whiffs if you're close enough for the invincibility to get you through an attack, even against sword characters.
