Best and Worst feelings as Samus

What things about Samus do you find most satisfying and most frustrating?

Best feelings:
Landing Up Air > Jab > F Smash combo
Bomb > anything edgeguards
Succession of tether drop attacks without getting punished
Landing lots of grabs after conditioning

Worst feelings:
Getting grabbed out of Jab
Accidentally doing a jump cancelled up smash after a Dash Attack instead of an Up Air

Best Feeling:
Breaking a shield with bomb > charge shot

Worst feeling:
Getting punished for landing sourspot ftilt

Breaking a shield with super missile + charge shot
Getting u-air strings and killing with up B off the top

Worst feelings:
Opponent escaping from up B and punish me for that
Z-air getting cancelled by Battlefield's platforms

One of my personal favorites is the
Uair mix up->Utilt->Nair/UpAir/UpB/CS.

Having 4 final attacks really keeps people guessing just what's gonna happen.

Worst....Jab/Ftilt getting shield grabbed or UpB being canceled and usually the opponent can react faster to punish me.

That isn't showing priority. G&Ws upair has a long active hitbox, but when a long hitbox is shielded (not a multihit move) then that particular hitbox is nullified for its whole duration.

Best Feeling: Edge bomb into Dair, or any setup into CS.


Worst Feeling: Watching your super missile get casually jabbed away while you're stuck in the animation, and bracing yourself for the punish.

Worst feeling: Having your charge shot interrupted before it can leave the arm cannon.

Best:
A sweetspot standing bair.
Baiting with a CS and then landing a d-tilt on an airborne approaching enemy.
Jab 1 on an opponent looking for a grab or smash attack.
Worst:
Missiles being out prioritized.
The split second when you can't shield instantly because CS just charged fully, resulting in getting punished.
Reacting faster than an opponent and getting punished because of the extended hurtbox.
Whiffing an Fsmash on close opponent because of hitbox.

Best:
Bombs into anything, (fsmash, ftilt, dtilt, uptilt, CS, Bomb grab) Bombs confuse the crap out of people
backflip short hop CS kill after playing super smart and careful to get such an easy to read kill shot off is hilarious.
bomb gimp kills (cant forget those)
SHAD > Bair kills
Worst:
Getting a charged smash attack to the face after accidentally grabbing nothing
homing missile coming out when your trying to bomb jump back to the stage, instant death
Up B clanking, Just why???
fsmash explosion clearly hitting opponent with no effect.

Hitting a Pit out of his up-b with dair when he's trying to recover
Any kind of ledge trump reverse CS shenanigan

Worst:
Missing a pivot grab and getting Luigi up-b'd (or pretty much any other move in the game).
Accidentally using a SH fair and bracing yourself for the ridiculous landing lag.

Best Feeling: Bomb to Down air

Worst Feeling:

• Not killing at 140% with Up-B OOS, but killing with a dash attack.
• Not getting the grab but tickling your opponent with your tether.
• Getting punished after jab 1
• Doing up smash under a platform and it doesn't do anything
• Losing your full charge shot and not knowing about it because you didn't completely charge it

Best feeling: Making projectile reflectors/absorbers panic by fully charging.

Worst feeling: When the grapple beam doesn't grab the ledge correctly thus sending you plummeting.

Best feeling: Dash Attack > U-air > N-air. Then wait for an airdodge and punish with Charge Shot. It kills at the edge of the stage.

Best Feeling: Dash Attack into U-air into N-air. Then wait for an air dodge and punish with D-air. They might panic recover, so punish with another D-air. Best feeling ever. XD

Best feeling: B-air stage spike into footstool. Wait for recovery and then spike!

Worst feeling: missing a turnaround Charge Shot; punished from Jab or Side Tilt; when I don't get that offstage gimp on Fox and Falco, so they come back and rek me.

Does tether lege trump into reverse Charge Shot actually work?

So I've been playing a lot more recently and I've decided to update my list.

Best feeling: Playing as Samus.
Worst feeling: Playing as Charge Shot: The Character.

Best feelings:

-bomb gimps. Either by themselves, or setups into dair kos or other shenanigans. Dirty bombs.

-jablocks. Feels good to get that free extra 25 or more % or ko setup while your opponent squirms helplessly. Best on Halberd.

-that moment when you're fighting against a Link or Pit and they have their arrow charged, but you're hanging on the ledge with a full CS.

Worst feelings:

-never being able to land. Nowhere near a ledge? Too damn bad.

-getting CS reflected and getting killed by it, especially at unreasonably low %. Especially when you're so confident you conditioned your opponent not to reflect that crap. Doesn't matter what anyone else says, this is THE worst Samus feels.

-honorable mention goes to ftilt and uptilt. Thanks for those awesome hurt box and hit box correlations, sakurai.

-Getting people to question why Samus is seen as low tier by winning
-Pulling off an awesome spike

Worst feelings:

-Whiffing a throw
-Misfiring a CS(such as the opposite direction)
-Not being buffed at all
