Hey guys,

I started playing slightly over a year ago, and although I have some basic techskill, I still feel like I don't really understand the game in terms of spacing, zoning, etc. Here are some falco ditto friendlies that I recently played at Civil War. I'm Player 1, and I start playing falco around 19:00. Please ignore the stuff after 30:00 or so, I got really tired and played terribly from then on xD.

Any critique/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You're actualy quite good and your tech skill seems pretty solid, which shows in your shield pressure ability. Personally I think your game would be improved with a little bit more laser play, especially as an approach.

I think you were green falco:
utilt more, it's pretty good.
edgeguarding: laser until they go low and then downair them. You didn't seem to have a plan.
get more fluid movement/speed, especially with shine waveland onto platforms to follow their DI. Then you'll be able to make your combos more solid.
don't bair so much in your combos, it usually ends the combo so don't do it unless it'll setup free edgeguards. Stick with dair/utilt/shine and sometimes nair.
I don't remember if you used these at all, but learn shine oos and lhdl.

Watch PP combo/edgeguard. You have to be able to punish your opponent before getting an advantage in neutral will really matter.

Kind of as a side note you seem to double shine a little too much, sometimes u hit the opponent with a shine and then shine again rather than just canceling and going for an aerial
