Beggining Match with ZSS not working...

Hey guys.

I just got Brawl 2 days ago, and wanted to try out Zero Suit Samus. Okay, so I did, and when I held the R button before the match started with a classic gamecube controller, she stayed "Power Suit Samus."

I have tried the taunting thing and it hasn't worked either.

Help please?

When you select samus on the select screen, PRESS and HOLD R untill you are off the selection screen and continue holding R while selecting the stage.

I seemed to have the same trouble. Try holding down L instead. you should only have to hold it done until you reach the stage selection screen. the icon of the fighters in the top left should show zss.

I've heard that too, definitely try holding L instead (with gamecube controller).

You don't even need to hold shield while selecting the level. As long as you are holding R between character select and level select, you'll get Zamus.
