Been lurking a while, finally got around to joining.

I've got a general idea of how things go around here, but does anyone have any good tips to help me avoid making a fool of myself? Looking forward to actually participating in these boards, instead of just reading them as they go along.

Just know the rules and be a generally pleasant person, look for threads of the same kind before making one, etc. have fun!
