Marth dittos are terrible. If you want to cut yourself, forget it, challenge someone to a Marth ditto and you're set, am I right?

In all seriousness, I'm sure he meant so you can see different styles of Marth, but all of that goes out of the window in a ditto anyway. Play against other characters and just learn how to deal with them in the way you find best. You'll develop your own style then.
