Haha seriously? Not to be rude, but I don't think this deserves its own thread. Next time just ask around at the link boards on how to improve dude. They're like, by faaaar one of the most dedicated players when it comes to improving!

Just space with hookshot, arrows, ect., make sure you always have a bomb in hand and space your slashes well.

First off, main a better character. The Marth vs. Link match up is also slanted
heavily towards Marth (-2/+2), but the particulars of a MU don't matter much to
a COM.

I remember having problems with Lv.9, just keep trying. COMs are hopelessly stupid, and
will fall for the same tricks/strategies every time. Just find one that works dude.

Level 9 cpus are unhuman at any level but they aren't unbeatable. Improve on your character and use the cpu's stupidity against them.

There are legit reasons for wanting to play against CPUs, and if you go from not beating CPUs to beating CPUs you generally get better at the game. This thread is good and you should feel good.

To ssbbrules2000, Marth has the flaw of not being able to attack at a range. You have your bow, boomerang, and bombs at your disposal. You can also press the grab button in mid-air to fire your hookshot right at him. Be sure you stay on the stage if you can, as link isn't that good when pushed off the ledge. Good luck. ;)

Don't bother with level 9 CPUs. They actually do make you play worse and gain some bad habits. It's just not worth the time nor the effort either.

Link Boards? Why are you trying to bring this kind of thing there?
The Link Boards is just a lurkfest/waiting game anyway. This sounds like a need for a general guide.

level nines aren't good for training too much, they fall for attacks(like TL's Dair) that real experienced players would normaly shield or dodge. point is, as stated before, they form bad habits
