Suntan Luigi
Smash Lord
Hello fellow Marth mains.
As we all probably know, Battlefield is one of the best stages for Marth due to the ways in which he can exploit the platforms and layout. There are many useful things Marth can do here better than anywhere else and countless ways to utilize the platforms too. Because of this, I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread where we can share all of the many tricks or playstyles available to Marth on this specific stage.
I'll start by giving a few things I know:
-Marth can full hop D-air from the ground or platform and land on a platform above him with zero landlag
-While on the ground Marth can attack enemies on the platforms above him with F-tilt, which can send them at a nice angle for edgeguarding
-For those of you who don't know, while on a platform with your shield up you can immediately drop through if you tilt the control stick with just the right speed. Marth can combine this with F-air (or any aerial) to give him a very quick and safe OoS option.
Comments and suggestions are welcome!
