Hey all. This is my first RMT thread that I've done here on SWF and I feel that I could use a couple suggestions. I've been EV training like a mad man and have a lot of different options that I made for myself (I'll list them after the main team) and was mainly just looking for any/all advice that I can get. Many thanks in advance.
---
Crobat@Wide Lens
Jolly/Inner Focus (6 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spd)
-Aerial Ace
-U-Turn
-Hypnosis
-Taunt
*Basic lead Pokemon. Used mainly as a quick sleep-starter for the team and possible utility Pokemon. Recently discovered that Taunt works through Substitute so it can work as a counter to Ninjask (sorry ODIN). My philosophy with Crobat is: Who doesn't want to lull their opponents to sleep with a big, ugly, four-winged bat?

Dusknoir@Leftovers
Careful/Pressure (252 HP, 80 Def, 178 Sp.Def)
-Shadow Sneak
-ThunderPunch/Fire Punch (something else?)
-Pain Split
-Will-O-Wisp
*Kinda-sorta tank. Works as a basic Blissey counter. Shadow Sneak makes up for bad speed, chip damage, and works against Focus Sash/Band.

Electivire@Expert Belt
Adamant/Motor Drive (6 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spd)
-ThunderPunch
-Ice Punch
-Earthquake
-Cross Chop
*Standard physical sweeper. Nothing special worth noting here other that I have two Pokemon on my team that I can switch from to bait Motor Drive (Crobat and Starmie).

Starmie@Choice Specs
Timid/Natural Cure (6 HP, 252 Sp.Att, 252 Spd)
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Grass Knot/Rapid Spin
*Also standard. I know I can work Rapid Spin on the set if I need it, It's just that it'll be hit or miss at that point without knowing what my opponent has before the match. Choice Specs work wonders to pull chunks of HP off (obviously). With two bulky Pokemon on the main team I should be able to switch rather safely to use a different move. With Sceptile on the main team now, I can afford to have Rapid Spin on Starmie if I feel the need to.

Sceptile@Petaya Berry
Timid/Overgrow (6 HP, 252 Sp. Att, 252 Spd)
-Energy Ball
-Dragon Pulse
-Focus Blast
-Substitute
*Sub-sweeper. Nothing too out of the ordinary, except the fact that it's a little more useful than Blaziken depending on the situation. As my second fastest pokemon (and with more Special Attack than Starmie) it can easily get the job done. The general idea is to drop it's HP to critical and have the Petaya Berry/Overgrow activate. With such awesome speed it can outrun most anything that's not been passed to or not scarfed. Unlike Blaziken, I can 'ghetto style' activate the berry/Overgrow combo in creative ways if Sanstream/Snow Warning is already in effect. Overall, more useful than Blaziken as a whole.

Swampert@Leftovers/Rindo Berry (If there's an item clause)
Impish/Torrent (252 HP, 6 Att, 252 Def)
-Earthquake
-Avalanche
-Brick Break/Body Slam
-Stealth Rock
*Mostly standard, but built a little more bulky than what I'm used to. As far as the item though, since I'll usually have Leftovers on Dusknoir, I'm not sure what I can use mainly for Swampert. Brick Break for a more reliable Fighting-Type move than Cross Chop/Reversal and it takes down screens. Body Slam if I'm feeling particularly like crippling my opponent and if I end up having to re-breed the thing...
---
There's the main team. The sidelined Pokemon include:

-Umbreon
-Steelix
-Metagross
-Venusaur
-Blaziken
-Feraligatr
-Yanmega (work in progress)

Most of them are standard, but if anyone wants me to post their attributes I'll be glad to do so when I have the opportunity. Again, thanks for the rates.

Unlike some other rmts we've seen recently, this one is well formatted and well thought out.

Grass knot over psychic. Psychics not such a good attacking type, and otherwise you don't have a real good way to take down swampert.

For swampert, keep the leftovers on. Not too many people use item clause these days.

Things to think about: you have no dragon resist. That means an outraging garchomp is going to do a lot of damage to your team. I think it might at least 2hko everything except maybe for swampert...

Also, you have 2 weak to ghost and no resist. Not terribly damaging, but watch out for it.

Like shadydentist said, the weaknesses in this team are a lot less glaring than many. While no dragon resist means a world of pain from Garchomp, it means even more damage from SpecsMence. This team deals with hard hitting mixed sweepers like Infernape and Lucario better than many other ones posted here. Good job. Only thing I can pick out is that many of threats in current metagame are "countered" by your team only because Crobat is extremely fast and will Hypnosis them before they can react. However, without this asset (Sleep Clause, perhaps), some weaknesses do become more apparent, like the Dragon weakness, for one. Also, I'm sure you are aware of this, but personally, that reversal sets have become so gimmicky this gen it's very likely that the mighty Reversalken of ADV has become little more than novelty. Stealth Rock, Sandstream, Snow Warning, the multitude of new quick attacks and such make me shudder at the thought of Blaziken. =/ It might be a good idea to switch that out for a special wall. This gen's emphasizing special attacking with the addition of monsters like Azelf and Choice Specs and *gasp* special fighting moves/Hidden Power.

Hurray for anti-Subs! Oh, crap...

Dusknoir@Leftovers
Careful/Pressure (252 HP, 80 Def, 178 Sp.Def)

-Pain Split
-Will-O-Wisp

Pain Split steals lots of HP from Blissey, nice...

Electivire@Expert Belt
Adamant/Motor Drive (6 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spd)
-ThunderPunch
-Ice Punch
-Earthquake
-Cross Chop
*Standard physical sweeper. Nothing special worth noting here other that I have two Pokemon on my team that I can switch from to bait Motor Drive (Crobat and Starmie).

Bah, Standard...

Starmie@Choice Specs
Timid/Natural Cure (6 HP, 252 Sp.Att, 252 Spd)
-Surf
-Psychic/Grass Knot
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
*Also standard. I know I can work Rapid Spin on the set if I need it, It's just that it'll be hit or miss at that point without knowing what my opponent has before the match. Choice Specs work wonders to pull chunks of HP off (obviously) and I usually have Psychic on the set for Gengars. With two bulky Pokemon on the team I should be able to switch rather safely to use a different move...

Okay, shoot for Grass Knot. Other than that, good...

Swampert@Leftovers (Lum Berry? Other Berry?)
Impish/Torrent (252 HP, 6 Att, 252 Def)
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Avalanche
-Stealth Rock
*Mostly standard, but built a little more bulky than what I'm used to. As far as the item though, since I'll usually have Leftovers on Dusknoir, I'm not sure what I can use mainly for Swampert.

A lot of people pull this, and I say every time that Waterfall is unnecessary when Earthquake and Avalanche are in the mix...You can replace Waterfall with some other massive-power Physical attack, say Brick Break or Body Slam...Or you could use Counter or Mirror Coat; as well as Curse, which works perfectly with Avalanche, so Swampy can act like a high-damaging Physi-Wall. You have a lot of options, just drop the Waterfall...

Blaziken@Focus Sash
Adamant/Blaze (6 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spd)
-Blaze Kick
-Reversal
-Stone Edge
-Agility
*I always wondered what breeding a large dog and a rooster would produce... Blaziken is one of my favorites on the team. Usually best sent in after I lose a Pokemon in battle; it can go in at almost anytime during a match and do some awesome damage. One Agility makes it faster than most anything that comes in off the bat, but I know there are many common counters to this (Ninjask with Protect, anything with a first priority move).

Yeah, outofdashdwz's right, Reversal sets don't work as well as they used to...You could always go for a ChoiceScarfed Blaziken. Or you could find a replacement for the Poke...

There's the main team. The sidelined Pokemon include:

-Umbreon
-Steelix
-Metagross
-Venusaur
-Sceptile
-Feraligatr (starter Pokemon catch my attention, lol)

Interesting sideliners...

Most of them are standard, but if anyone wants me to post their attributes I'll be glad to do so when I have the opportunity. Again, thanks for the rates.

You're welcome, again...
Good team: no overly-dangerous weaknesses, decent movesets, plenty of cover-ups, and a beautiful lead...Main thing here is to watch out for people who are extremely good at predicting; A tricky Poke with Thunderbolt and a decent Ground move is the last thing E-Vire wants to switch into...Replace that Swampert's useless Waterfall (I swear I get on to so many people for that)!!!And the Blaziken needs a bit of a makeover...
---------------------------
I give the current team:

A 8.83791153561217/10, and a boot to the head.

One more thing: I noticed Starmie is the only Poke that uses Special Attacks. That means when it's out, a team of high-Defense Pokes is going to give you some serious trouble...Try looking for an additional Special-Sweeper...

Have fun training! ;)

Actually, after putting a little thought into the matter, I do have something that can at least counter Dragons (more specifically any physical Dragon-type). While I dont have anything on the main team that can resist Dragons, I don't have any type weaknesses against them. As you said, an Outrage-ing Garchomp could probably 2HKO most things, but after taking one of those hits my Dusknoir can cripple them with burn status. Not that many people run anything with Heal Bell/Aromatherapy; Most Blisseys are status inducing Seismic Tossers anyway.

The Swampert as well can take the hit then 120 power Avalanche the threat away. Inversely, if it's a special based Dragon like Specmence, Dusknoir can do a decent job walling it (380+ Sp.Def), deal quick chip damage, and burn it for good measure. Afterwards, if Dusknoir manages to fall, Starmie comes in and fires an Ice Beam by outrunning the special threat (it should outrun unless it's somehow up against a mixed +speed Salamence with Dragon Dance).

Also forgot to mention that I usually use Blaziken later in the match anyway; when most Quick Attackers have been dealt with. If Sandstream is already active, I'll usually just gun it and hope for a chance burn status or hit with a neutral Stone Edge (In the rare case of Snow Warning, I'll usually hit for SE Blaze Kick anyway. Blaziken thus surves it's purpose). If Blaziken falls, I get a safe switch anyway.

To IC3R: Star of the 'interesting sideliners:'

Umbreon@Leftovers
Careful/Synchronize (252 HP, 128 Def, 128 Sp. Def)
-Payback
-Substitute
-Moonlight
-Curse
*Good, clean, late-game fun! By late game I mean 'a time where I can set this little monster up cleanly' and 'when I've already taken care of any Taunters.' Not much can survive 2 hits from a super-booted Payback. After so much Cursing (lol) though, it only really fears high-powered Special Sweepers (I try to keep a sub up as much as possible). He's very unwieldy, but like I said, he's 'fun.'

Made a few edits to the main post; including bumping Blaziken to the side-team and promoting Sceptile to the main. In short, doing so gives me a better Speciall Sweeper and another strong attack against those pesky Dragons (and no weaknesses either).

Again, if there are any suggestions (especially for pokemon already on the main team) let me know. I'm open to all critisism. Also, I'll mention again that if anyone wants to see how any of the side-team pokemon fit in with everything else, I'll try to explain upon request. I don't really want to clog up the topic with too much post space...
