Here is the story. I played Basic Brawl as Snake. My console says I'm player 1 no matter what. I know that my real player number is distinguishable by my shield color during a Wi-Fi match. It was yellow. This means I was really player 3. I won a match. I go to the character select screen with the 3 other players.
I press start to proceed. The icons above say I have 3 other players still. When I npick a stage and I go to the practice stage to realize that one player(player 2) has left. I noticed something odd. On the bottom of the screen it said that P1 was selecting stage, the P2 slot was empty, there was no P3 slot, and the P4 slot was in the practice stage. My shirld was red in the practice stage. When I go to start the match, I learned that I was marked as player 3 in my console and that I was unable to control my character. no matter which slot I use, I could not control him. It was so frustrating, I reset the game. Any explanation on why this happened?
