Well, well, well. As we look around at the posts around us, it's clear to see there are many people hoping for their favorite characters to be into Brawl. And where there are people who are supporters, there are people who are against what some are supporting. This thread discusses people who don't want certain characters in Brawl, which is safe to say this may be all of us, including myself. Now there are two kinds of critics that I mostly see when it comes to opinions on the character roster. There are those who make an actual debate as to whether the character has a chance, giving their opinion as well as the facts. Then there are those who put down a certain character, but not really having any valid reason at all. These are the kinds of people I am directing this thread at.
So, first thing is first. Why am I creating this thread? I want to get my word out that going into a thread to simply boast a annoying and uneducated opinion about how the character shouldn't be in Brawl simply because you said so doesn't add anything to the discussion at all. All this does is show you don't support the character, which could easily be done by simply ignoring the thread. When a thread gets few replies on a character discussion, then we KNOW he/she/it is not popular amongst others, there is no call for your useless hate spam.
Secondly, I've seen this statement said a lot:
"I have freedom of speech, I may say what I want!"
Yes, you have that freedom, you have the ability to post in any thread you please, I am not saying you don't, but because you are able to do it, doesn't make it any more moral and it certainly doesn't make your post any more important. You want to post something with little importance in the thread, go ahead, but you will be frowned down upon not only me, not only the supporters of the character, but those who disagree with trolling threads as well. Really, all your doing is just killing your rep here at SWF.
Last thing to be said, is to those who really do reflect upon the characters chances of being in Brawl. These are the kind of discussions I like to see, these are the kind of posts that do not just take up a block of space in thread with a useless opinion. Those who actually back up their thoughts on the character not being in brawl with facts as well as a open mind for discussion onother people's thoughts is why these character character discussion threads are created.
All in all, if you don't have something insightful to add to the thread, then DON'T post there.
Well, that's my two cents. I hope this gets some sort of acknowledgment, as I know I would love to get rid of people like this, and I hope many of you out there would to.
