Smash Rookie
Hey guys!
Ill be holding a large smash tournament in the barrie area. The date will be Saturday January 17th 2009 Its close to toronto. I would like to see as many of you out as possible to really make it a great day of smash. Ill be holding a melee tournament as well as brawl, and possibly smash 64. Singles doubles crews, what ever you guys wanna see. Everything here is open to sugggestion and if we have enough time we can run all the events.
Prizing
Again, what type of prizes would you guys like to see? I was thinking maybe like
1st: 50%
2nd:30%
3rd:20%
But of course this kinda depends on how many people come. with more people we could have more places paid. Just let me know what you guys are thinking.
Buy in is open for interpretation as well. Maybe 10 for singles? or 15? lets go with the majority here. Please post your thoughts and i will update this post with the majoritys opinion.

What type of tournaments are you guys interested in here?
Melee- Singles, doubles??
Brawl-Singles, doubles, crews(with enough support)
64- singles?
Hows that sound? of course we might have to cut a couple based on time constraints.
Location
The tournament will be held at Suite Works located at 52 Caplan avenue. (map to follow)
There are lots of places for food in the area, A&W mcdonalds wendys, sub way. Within walking distance.
Time
Im thinking opening the doors for warmups around 9 and actual tournament play starting 10 or 10 30.
Setups
We have a few setups, but of course would like more. More setups, more ppl playing, more time for more tournaments. Please post your opinions, and lets try to make this a fun day!
