Sorry guys, but the “Sakurai did an interview on a Japanese radio show that only the French listened to” story is still not true. I don’t know why Nintendojo is citing a ten month old rumor, but they are. Baby Bowser, Cel-shaded Link and Ridley are still not confirmed, Game and Watch and Ice Climbers are still not removed, and the final roster is still 40 plus or minus 10.
Are we that desperate for Brawl news? Well… yes. And with the announcement that Nintendo will not say anything “new” at GDC, we might have a while to wait yet. I know everyone is hoping Miyamoto decides to have a fireside chat about Brawl, but odds are extremely low given the embargo.
This brings up a fun point for speculation, though. Where do you think our next bit of info will come from? The official site? A keynote address? An E3 Keynote? A mysterious and un-cited Japanese radio show that only French people listen to?
