B-sticking with olimar?

I played a ditto match today with my friend and he b-sticked with him, his short hops to latch were very nicely timed. I dont know if there any advantages to it but i would like to hear others opinions on it.

I think we discussed this a while ago, but I'm glad you brought it up. I think we analyzed the possibilities and decided that it wasn't a good controller configuration for Olimar, as c-stick aerials are much more useful.

Cstick smashes are also more useful for him too. Plus I have no problem nicely timing latches with B+ the control stick..

As my friend who mains Olimar says:

"B-sticking is ****ing useless when compared to a quick dsmash."

Doesn't give him a good wavebounce, he loses the c-stick for aerials, ect...

Overall, a bad idea.
