All the details are here in my github repository. I got good and sick of making these things by hand and editing them in Gimp, so I made a python script that automatically assembles them from screenshots and adds well placed buttons based on their names (eg L_UP.png gets a Left Trigger and a Dpad Up). It can automatically arrange 0-10 alternates around a base stage image (you don't have to tell it how many there are or really do anything). It also has a number of configuration options including
- shear intensity
- button size
- button opacity
- borderwidths
- posterization (you can turn it off or set a level)
- solarization (same deal)
I plan on adding to this so that it also creates an icon and, if you specify it, a stageflower as I described here in Kapedani's old thread.
Here are some examples that are also on the github, of outputs of this beast:
