Ah, actually we tend to have random sessions on Brawl every now and then at my place.

And yeah, there seems to be people who are still playing Melee, but tend to be a douche bag about it and try to neglect Brawl in general by just insulting the game.

Yeah, its ok to hate on the game but you don't like it, but to insult people in liking it or act so elitist? Jeez...

But yeah, we got some people here and I'm willing to take any Money Matches on Brawl (thats if your interested in that, lol).
You can AIM me later tonight if you would like on more info on these sessions, however, we play more than just Brawl. We GG:AC, 3S, and other random fighting games.

Most of us take the games to a serious level (mainly GG:AC) and goto tournies for the game, but your welcome to our sessions, casual gamer or tournament player.

Just saying, we accept money matches =)

Also, you can check out this link on other gatherings around the Austin area.

I'm also thinking of hosting a Brawl/Melee tournament, but can't seem to find a good venue here in Austin.
Tek Ruplik it too small to host a tournament at for it.

With that said, if you know a good venue, tell me whats up ;o

I live in Jester and yeah I noticed the basement people just stick to Melee. But yeah I play Brawl. Unfortunately I can't get my LAN adapter to work so I can't give you my official Brawl code. Stupid UT internet ><. The code posted is actually from my friend's Wii. He lives off campus so I'll use that code whenever I see him which is like, every other weekend.

The "venue" part is what I need help in.

Otherwise, search my post.
I've actually hosted quiet a bit of tournament with large turn outs in the past ;o

Tek Republik venue is too small for the amount of people I bring in =/
