Pacific West [August 29, 2015] Fight or Flight! 4 | Melee, Project M, and Smash 4

Back in our regular Eugene venue at the University of Oregon, the UO Smash Club and CACAW Gaming present Fight or Flight 4! The venue is rented out all day with a full PA system, chairs and tables for everyone, a stage, and two projectors for streaming and for displaying the bracket.

Anyone is welcome to attend the event and all people are welcome to play matches/spectate.

There is no venue fee.
We are in the process of securing the use of Smash.gg for pre-registration (in addition to door registration) and bracket display. If this does not happen, we will use Challonge.

Events and Entry Fees
MELEE SINGLES, Smash 4 Singles, and Project M Singles: $5 Each
Melee Doubles, Smash 4 Doubles, and Project M Doubles: $10 per team. ($5 per teammate.)

Stream
The event will be streamed at twitch.tv/zodiacsmash. It is our intent to give each game a reasonable amount of stream time, and the Streaming Staff will be working very hard to make this happen. Due to the irregularities that naturally occur during tournaments, we cannot make any promises that certain events will be streamed.

Notes

• Registration cutoff times are strict. Please don't message TOs/post on the Facebook page asking to be put into brackets if your carpool is late. Should we secure preregistration with smash.gg, we encourage everyone to use it to avoid last-minute conflicts.

• Prize Money will be given out to the victors of each bracket with a 60/30/10 distribution, with additional funds paying out to either 5th or 7th place depending on the size of the bracket. Payout distribution may change depending on the size of the pot.
• Per UO policy, UO students who are unable to pay the $5 entry fee for the brackets but would like to enter should contact one of the TOs prior to the event.

PLEASE BRING SET-UPS
We are not charging a venue fee and are expecting this to be a large tournament, so please bring as many set-ups as you are able to. There will be a sufficient number of outlets, tables, and chairs in the room to accommodate everything. Please help make this a great tournament by bringing whatever you are able to!
