Saturday August 1st at Anime-zing Escape, GamerMingle is hosting a Smash 4 Singles (with customs), Mortal Kombat X tourney, and Smash 4 Doubles (No Customs). The Smash 4 singles tourney will start at 3PM, and MKX & Smash Doubles will start at 5 or 530PM depending on the length of the Smash 4 tournament. Both Smash tourneys are double elimination. The tournament entry fees will be $10 ($5 venue, $5 pot) for your first tourney entry, and $5 per tourney you compete in after that. Payouts for each tourney are as follows:
1st - 60%
2nd- 30%
3rd - 10%
Depending on the turnout for each tourney, we will also have prizes for 4th place and possibly for the two players tied for 5th. (Smash 4 Singles will also feature a $50 POT BONUS, and 4th place is Guaranteed a refund or possibly more depending on the turnout.)We strongly advise you to bring your own controller, and any spare setups are greatly appreciated. If you bring a spare setup, and we use it for tourney play, we will waive your venue fee for the day.
A spare setup for Smash should include: Monitor, system, game, & GameCube adapter. A spare setup for MKX should include PS4, Game, Monitor, and at least 1 controller incase other players don’t bring their own.
Smash specific rules-
2 Stock, 6 Minute, best of 3 matches.
Winner finals, Loser finals, Grandfinals all best of 5.
We will have the standard EVO custom move sets for each character, these will take up all 10 slots on the custom move board, so we will not allow anyone to copy over their own specific custom setups.

MKX Rules
1v1, best of 3 except finals, loser finals, Grandfinals. Stage selection will be random. Winner of first game must pick their character for the second game before the loser.
Please plan to be at the venue a half hour or so before your game begins to get signed up, especially if you are bringing a spare setup, to keep things moving smoothly.
