Attempting to get Smashboards server running on shoddy

In case you guys aren't aware of this, the downloadable server package is extremely out of date. The code that we run on the Smogon, as well as CAP, is from the cvs. (Well over a year ago we kind of got bored of releasing new packages, heh.) The cvs is available to everybody, you might just not have realised that. Unfortunately, I don't have time to offer support for building from the cvs.

are you inferring that being gay is bad? And if you don't like it, don't use it. You won't lose anything.
