ATs Could Theoretically be Playable, that Would be NICE!

Now, don't jump off board and say I think that you control ATs after they are summoned...no! I thought of an idea! What if ATs could be playable, but they are identical clones to another character? For example, Waluigi is a Luigi clone, Stafy is a Kirby clone, Little Mac is a C.Falcon clone, and if there was ever a Knuckles AT, it would be a Sonic clone (that is for you Samurai Panda).

It seems really awkward, but here me out!

Bear in mind, though, that you can’t control any of the characters appearing on these pages. Let there be no mistake about that.
It's a good idea for Smash Bros. 4 or something, but it's not going to be in brawl.

I don't know why everyone seems to still want Assist Trophies as playable characters. Just be happy that they're in the game in some form.

the only possibility I could see in playable ATs would be to allow you to move that trophy around and choose when to unleash its attack. Like, for Lakitu, you could move him left or right, and choose whether to periodically drop Spinys or throw them all down really quickly.

DarkSpidey13 is right on. That's from the "What are Assist Trophies" update.
