At what point do we lose interest in gaming?

I've been gaming for a long time and I doubt I'll ever stop. I like old games but I also enjoy lots of new ones too. For example, right now I'm playing Street Fighter III: Third Strike On-line Edition (I suck at it, BTW) and Goldeneye 007 Wii quite a bit. Both of those games feature on-line competition so it’s always very thrilling to play for about an hour and then stop and go do something else.

Of course, being somewhat of a video game collector I always make time to play some of the older games in my collection. Not a week goes by when I don’t play a little Mario Kart 64, F-Zero X or Super Smash Bros. on my N64. Sometimes I even get a wild hair to play one of the obscure games in my video game library which now hovers at around 215 titles.

Modern Warfare 3 will be released around my birthday so I’m sure I’ll completely immerse myself with its on-line multiplayer and I’m hoping that Skullgirls gets released around that time too.

Oh, and did I forget to mention that I’m married.

Yes and No. I have a kid, career, own place, etc. and I still get a lot of gaming in
