With out them its pretty much spamming the room.
But if its true then..holy crap. Actual companies taking action against 4chan. I actually heard it was happening as well from AT&T users, so then wow.

I hate 4chan, but the site is completely blocked for me. I had VX (you guys know him as darkslash) and a few other non-AT&T users check 4chan themselves and it worked fine.
This is bull****. Slap to the face for net neutrality. I encourage everybody to send e-mails to the NCAC (http://www.ncac.org/) about this. I also encourage you all to e-mail your senators about this. If this happens, things as trivial as single websites as a whole could effectively become like HBO - everybody wants it, but you have to pay for more than your basic cable package to get it.

I was able to enter the main page but it took 7 minutes to load, everything is taking too long to load, I guess I've been blocked in someway though it doesn't matter since I never been to 4chan except for right now so it doesn't matter to me.

NEW DEVELOPMENT: Moot apparently has retracted his statement that Cogent Communications has blacklisted 4chan COMPLETELY. Reddit has just removed the story from the homepage, search results, and originating subreddit. This isn't normal, it had 3000+ up votes. Probably removed due to lolsuit threat by AT&T. 4Chan is currently down for reasons unknown, possible DDoS attack. Confirmed by myg0t: AnonTalk. Conspiracy?

Really? I'm not on an AT&T connection, so I'm perusing the /b/ board and it seems a few people are gaining access once more. Digg still has it as there top hit too. Regardless, this was a massively idiotic mistake on AT&T's part.

Reddit actually did not remove it. I just went to the reddit.com subreddit, and there it was at #2 on the list. I've seen stories claiming that AT&T did it to protect themselves from a DDOS on 4chan, or something along those lines.
The Encyclopedia Dramatica article on this is completely hilarious. I can't stop laughing. Apparently AT&T unblocked it for now, and there's a ceasefire. They claim they blocked it because of DoS attacks from IP addresses linked to 4chan, but I dunno.

Anontalk DDosed /b/ and /r9k/ so much that an at&t user was effected and complained to at&t about the situation. at&t cut off access to /b/ and /r9k/ for about 1 day until they saw no threat from the DDos.
This was never over net neutrality.

This is blatantly a Denial of Service attack.
Just like every other day on these chan/anon sites, one of them is DDoSing another. They could use their technical expertise for better things, but hey, I guess they get kicks.

7chan, 420chan, 711chan, and 4chan or 2chan if you wanna include them don't DDoS one another anymore, they are in union now. If one of these go down they flock to the other one.

Also if you read carefully, it says Worse than the cancer, meaning it isn't cancer.
