You tend to over-use the Tornado. Sure, it can be semi-decent for damage and/or getting breathing room, but Luigi usually has better options. (jab -> grab -> D-Throw -> up-tilt x2 + up-smash / up-air chain or read Di for a punishment of your choice, including another grab/shoryuken if you've conditioned them to air dodge after getting thrown)

It also isn't to good for approaches because your opponent will eventually catch on and act appropriately. Think Meta's Tornado.

This is, of course, my opinion. I don't generally like the Tornado for anything besides killing off the top and recovery. Oh well. =p

Mecakoto: Welcome to SWF. And don't use utilt/smash after dthrow, use an ariel.

SH Aerial to Cyclone did get predictable, but it was hard for Falco to counter anyway so it worked out fine. Recovery delay before losing your second stock was superb. Some Luigi mainers forget they can delay their recoveries to gimp the gimpers. Kudos for that.

Suprisingly, your Luigi doesn't have much of a SH aerial game. Has this changed since then, or do you still rely mostly on jabs and dSmashes?

Thanks.

Yeah it did. I was mostly trying to stay grounded more at that time, in order to improve my ground game (which sucked back then). I wanted to get used to jabbing + followups and grabbing more, since my previous game was mostly just SH arials > getting shieldgrabbed.

I'd just like to point out this video was mostly put up for entertainment purposes seeing as my Luigi plays much better now. I'll try to get my hands on the more recent vids.
