ASL Code Doesn't Work

I've been having issues with the ASL code and I'd like some help. I'm using Brawl Minus 4.0bc, and I want to add 3 alts for Final Destination. I watched two tutorials and felt I did nothing wrong. All my button inputs are there in the tool, and the other code I inserted does just fine. However, the code just plain out doesn't work. No crashes/freezes or anything, it just loads Brawl FD no matter what buttons I push. I've heard somewhere that ASL and Brawlex aren't compatible, but PM+BeX and Super Smash Bros Infinity have Brawlex and ASL, so I'm confused.
