Armor Slide?

As you can see at 11-16 seconds in the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMRngw33hSg&feature=related , you see that ZSS throws an armor piece at marth but performs a slide (somewhat similar to snakes mortar slide) towards marth. How is this performed and is it only able to be done with her armor pieces?

Rolling and throwing an item produces a sliding motion. This is observable with Diddy's bananas, Peach's turnips, and Zamus's armor. Just perform a roll and use the C-Stick to perform a throw. Every character can do it, altho timing will vary.

You can throw any direction, rolling both forward or backward.

"Glide-toss" is what it has been coined as. Any time you see that being referenced, that's what they're referring to.
