A blown call with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th costs Armando Galarraga a perfect game, which would be the third in under a month.

And to make things worse, MLB commissioner Bud Selig won't reverse the call despite teh fact that the umpire admitted that he blew the call.

All I can say is that I feel sorry for both Galarraga and the umpire Jim Joyce and I highly respect both of them for handling this with such class. I'm gonna be pissed if this doesn't go in the record books because Galarraga truly deserved it.

Missouri said they're acknowledging Galarraga's feat as a perfect game and he got a corvette from the team.....it's still a bull call and should've been overturned but whatever. Joyce was obviously sorry and Galarraga took it surprisingly cool. hopefully they instate some kind of challenge system for specific occasions like this.

Personally, I acknowledge it as a perfect game. I think everyone will except the record books but in actuality that only bring shim more fame and renown. Think about it; name all of the perfect games you remember. For me it's Cohen, Wells, Buerhle, Braden, Halladay, Larson; none of them stick out in terms of what happened in the game because perfect games are inherently boring in terms of action. But Galarraga I'll remember for a looong time just because of that final call.
