honestly, i live in japan with a japanese 3ds buying the japanese version digitally on midnight

but even i'll probably be spoiled somewhat. in the next three and a half weeks there will probably be plenty leakage, and going by my tumblr where my friend is constantly reblogging bland but spoiler-filled korra gifsets before i get a chance to watch the episodes, i imagine i'll be seeing a lot of roster lists before i've unlocked everyone.

I'll look at the Roster and Probably Stages. I especially want to avoid the single player modes aside from what is revealed officially by Nintendo. I also plan on trying to avoid too much gameplay of some of the unloackables, I'll want to experience them firsthand! One of the things I want to avoid most is unlock methods. I'll probably look at them about a week into owning the game, but I want to start out just unlocking things normally.

Ah yeah. Well, there's so many threads about asking people if they are importing. I won't be looking, but if I find out, oh well.

I'm not going to avoid spoilers. I really can't anyway. I use Twitter, so even if I avoided here and GoNintendo, I'd still see people talking about it unless I temporarily blocked everyone and didn't look at texts from my friend.

Having said that, the only thing I -want- to know is characters, really. I don't care about the rest all that much (though I am interested in stages & music, but I won't go out of my way to find those out). I also want to know how to unlock Ganondorf. Everyone else can be a surprise, but Ganondorf is a necessity to have as soon as possible.

I'd also look for Jigglypuff, because my girlfriend wants to avoid Jigglypuff as long as possible. So I'd want to find out if it was unavoidable for her.

Something I wish I could do would be know the methods, but not who they unlock.

Although, for all we know, it could be like Mario Kart 8, where you have no control over who unlocks and it is random.

By spoiling, they mean finding out the information online without having/playing the game. If you imported the game, it wouldn't be spoiling because you'd be experiencing it normally, just in Japanese.
