I want to believe, but I think Nintendo releases major games on Fridays (or at least Midnight on Fridays.) Case in point: Mario Kart 8.

Umm... what? That's very soon. We didn't even get a release date in last month's Nintendo Direct, which would have been the perfect time to give a release date.

Give it a couple of months, I'm pretty sure we will get something soon or eventually.

I'm gonna copy my post from the Rumors thread because I didn't see this thread before posting.

I'm not saying I believe it, but Sm4sh is the one game I could actually see doing that. It would not surprise me if in early April they release a Direct and are in effect, like "Oh, and Smash Bros 4 comes will be available next week".

Call me crazy but I could totally see that happening. And everything just seems like it's leading to something big right now. Maybe just a newcomer in April, but imagine if it's much more.

So yeah. Obviously I'm not expecting anything but hey well you know.

I agree with yeah there (happy early birthday by the way). As much as I would like an early release of this game, being released early only leaves me to suspect that not all of the characters have been near perfectly balanced or bugs where thoroughly checked.

Better a finished game with less bugs than getting it early.

Thank you haha. Yes I agree, I am willing to wait longer so things like that are in check.

It's technically been in development for at least two years now, so it's not out of the question, I suppose.
