I went and had a fun time with friends, as Smash is a nice thing to share in.

That said, people from the community ended up working virtually all of the logistics of bracket creation and bracket running, and the manager screwed up on a number of money-related issues. Some people didn't get venue fee refunds for bringing in setups, an advertised pot bonus was never paid out to the winners, and people in Doubles got half the money paid out, which would have stayed that way unless an employee insisted on getting us our money, which caused the manager to yell at us and publicly vilify us on Facebook. He has since blocked me from all contact, trying to say that he paid us with no issue, taking down an employee's picture of us with our winnings and deleting any posts of people airing their grievances, however polite.

Do yourself a favor and avoid any future events at this place; the manager is not interested in treating customers fairly or kindly.
