Hey everyone! I'm Pappy, co-host and Smash WiiU participant, here to give you all the info you need on Pray for the King!

There will be 4 events
Smash 4 WiiU singles (10$)
Smash 4 WiiU doubles (5$/player)
Project M singles (10$)
Project M doubles (5$/player)
Venue fee 10$

Smash 4 WiiU Rules

Game Settings
● Stock and time are set to 2 stock and 6 minutes for Singles
● Stock and time are set to 3 stock and 8 minutes for Doubles
● Custom Fighters are set to off
● Mii Fighters are not legal.

● Final Destination
● Smashville

Counterpick Stages:
● Delfino Plaza
● Duck Hunt
● Kongo Jungle 64
● Town & City
● Omega Stages*
Castle Siege
Halberd
Lylat Cruise**
* Treated as Final Destination in banning phase. If Final Destination is banned, Omegas are banned and vice versa.
**The reason for this ban is because of the random move-cancelling due to the moving platform and because the movement can also cause players to Fall on the ground when standing on the far edge of the stage.

Additional Rules
Stage Striking: The player who lost a "Rock-Paper-Scissors" or coin-toss first strikes one stage from the Starter Stage list. Then the other player strikes one stage and the remaining stage is used for the first match.
Stage Clause: You cannot counterpick a stage that you have already won on in the set. (unless agreed by the opponent)
Stage Bans: During the stage ban phase, the player who won the previous game may ban 1 stage from either the Starter or Counterpick lists. A player also cannot choose a stage he himself banned in a previous game in the set. (no bans in Bo5)
Coaching: Coaching a player is only allowed between games for around 1 minute.

Location, Transport and Parking
The place is Collège de Maisonneuve (Salon)
3800 Rue Sherbrooke Est, Montréal QC

The college has paid parking
for up to 12$ for the whole day (4h+)
There are 4 ways to get there:
Carpool: there are quite a few carpoolers from either Montréal, Ottawa or Toronto
find and contact them here or on Facebook
Bus: there're alot of bus stops around the college from which you can drop off
or if you're from out of town there is Megabus that is of low-cost if you buy tickets early
Metro: if you're from IN-town, and if it's luckily not down, the closest station is Station Joliette
the next closest is Station Pie-IX
Walk: if you're one of the lucky few that live close enough, just take a walk

Food
There is a student café in the college
which sells food until 2h30 pm
Apart from that there is a small Tim Hortons
inside a convenience store
A Belle Province, classic fast-food
And a Poutine Central on Hochelaga
for real poutine from quebec
Time and registration
We will open the Registration at 9h30 am until 10h30 am
At 11h00 am sharp we will start Project M Singles Pools
Smash 4 WiiU Singles Pools
Project M Doubles Bracket
and Smash 4 WiiU Doubles Bracket
When the respective Singles Pools are over
we will start the Bracket for that Pool after 30 min ~ 1 hour


All brackets should be finished by 10h00 pm

We WILL need set-ups for both WiiU and PM, consoles AND TVs
here we'll list the current set-ups people are bringing* (those marked by * are unconfirmed)
