IMPORTANT: Due to space constraints, in order to deliver the best possible tournament experience, all Smash 4 events will exclusively be on SUNDAY, APRIL 19TH. There will be no Smash 4 events on the first day of the tournament.

What's up Smash Bros. Community! Gameguys is proud to present to you INTERGALACTIC KEGGER 2, Houston's premiere Melee and Project M event. We are excited to be adding Smash 4 to the schedule this year as well.
Better bring your A game, beacuse there will be a $500 POT BONUS for each singles event! (minimum of 64 players required). All of Texas' best players will be vying for the prize and the title. In addition, Mexico’s #1 crew, SMASHFACTOR, will be trying to win the pot as well. Are you ready to represent Texas and the USA against the competition?
It also gives us great pleasure to annouce our partnership with TOURNEY LOCATOR for the streaming of this tournament. Tourney Locator is a well known SSB stream located in Dallas, TX, and the premiere source of high level Project M gameplay in the country.

Venue Fee: $30 - paid at time of registration via PayPal
This is to cover overhead as well as one meal per day and your badge.
All singles events: $10
All doubles events: $10 per teammate
Event fees must be paid in cash and will be taken at the the venue during check-in.
Pre-registration will end on APRIL 11TH, 2015
The venue fee will go up to $40 after this date, and registration will only be available as long as pools spots are open. Avoid this problem by registering quickly and early!
HARD EVENT LIMIT: Participants will be limited to no more than 4 events. This is to ensure that the schedule runs smoothly by avoiding match conflicts.
PARTICIPATION CAP: WARNING: There may be a limit of 128 players each for Melee and Project M singles due to space at the venue. Although we are exploring additional options, we would rather ensure a quality experience to all in attendance than try to pack the house. This decision will be made in a few weeks. Avoid this by simply registering early!

VENUE AND FOOD
NOTE: Gameguys will partnering with IRAM’S RECEPTION HALL next door during the second day of this event to allow for more space and a stage for the finals. The address for Iram’s is the same as the address for Gameguys.

Outside food and drinks are allowed inside the venue. Each participant will receive one free meal around dinner time as part of their venue fee each day. There are also a few fast food options within a 5 minute drive. We are exploring possible options for food within walking distance but as of now there is none.
Gameguys will also allow alcohol at this tournament, being that it’s called the Kegger and all. Legal drinking age will be verified at check-in and participants of age will be given an additional venue band that must be worn if they wish to drink. If you choose to drink at this tournament, DO SO RESPONSIBLY. Belligerent behavior or sharing with minors will not be tolerated and could result in your removal from the venue and tournament without refund.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING
Parking will be available at the venue. If venue parking fills up, more parking is available in nearby lots. More details on that coming soon. Please make every attempt to carpool so that we can conserve parking.
AIRPORTS
Houston Hobby (HOU) is approx. 20 minutes from the venue, and the best possible option for flying to the tournament. If HOU is not available or convenient for you, there is also George Bush Intercontinental (IAH), but this is twice as far as the venue. Choose this only if it is your only option, or if it is closer to your housing.

This schedule is subject to change up until the day of the event due to fluctuations in registration numbers/expectations. We will make every effort to send out schedules of pool waves and what the pools are in advance.
NOTE: To read the schedule for Sunday properly, note not only the time, but whether the event will happen in GAMEGUYS or IRAMS.
CREWS/HYPE EVENTS: Gameguys is usually open to staying open as long as people are still there and ready to play. Although there is not currently not time for extra events on the schedule, the possibility exists so long as players are willing to stay late and do it.
