I hold melee/pm smashfests and brackets bi-weekly in Brandon, Florida. I have 6 crt's so no need to bring your tv's but bring your consoles. The event is tied to the Tampa Bay Area Melee facebook group. It's a private group so just "join" and an admin will approve it. https://www.facebook.com/groups/483669795064224/

The event starts at 7:30, Most people that come play melee/pm but brawl/64 is always welcome. Hope to see some of you there.

Door fee: $3

Tourney Fee: $2

I just had the idea to put it up here, but it is a bi-weekly event so there will be other opportunities to be there.

There aren't usually Brawlers but they are always welcome.

lately the count has been low 6-10 but we've had 40 man tournaments a few weeks in a row.

I actually stay right in Brandon. I've put in a request to join the group on FB. I'm looking forward to having human opponents for the first time since I've gotten my P:M setup.

@ Dr. Snakes , There will be a tournament in Sarasota this friday and the Sour spot will be happening the following week. The tournaments no longer happen in brandon because of extraneous circumstances, they happen at another friend's house in south tampa and hopefully will start being hosted by the Tampa Game Academy.

Edit: If this is the first time you'll have human opponents, be prepared to get destroyed.
