Apparently, Villager's Lloid acts as a Counter against aerials.

Obviously some Villagers have stumbled upon this before on accident

when
either they tried to stall their momentum or just to throw out a

projectile and such but no one really seems to use it intentionally like I

did. Might not even be just aerials but its safe to assume so atm. Frame 52 Lloid Rocket, lol! :4villager: :4villagerf:

(If there is a thread about this already somewhere i'll find someone to take this down.)

If you deal enough damage to Lloid it will explode early and hit the opponent who is still in hitstun

Oh that makes a lot of sense actually, as long as it still works similar to counter then i'm fine with this.

It does as long as your opponents hurtbox gets caught in the explosion and you don't get hit by their attack at the same time as the lloud explodes. I use this against Marth/Lucina players that use falling shirldbreaker a lot. It stuffs the move if you are spaced far enough back, and trades if you are too close. It works against some of their aerisls too but not as realiably since it's harder to read exactly how they are gong to space those moves.
